There was a time when I couldn't imagine my life without alcohol. While I didn't drink everyday, there was some part of me that felt I needed it to function. I couldn't imagine coping with life and all the feelings that came with it without a drink.

I spent years debating if I had a drinking problem. I'd promise myself I would stop at one or two yet despite my best efforts I would wake up the next day hungover filled with shame and regret. Maybe you can relate?

Eventually I did choose to quit drinking because I started asking myself different questions like "What is alcohol adding to my life? Do I want to spend my weekends hungover? Does drinking align with my values/ goals and the woman I want to be? Do I like who I am when I drink?"

After over 4.5 years of continuous sobriety, I can confidently say that quitting drinking is the best decision I have ever made. The benefits of sobriety are truly endless: less anxiety, higher self-esteem, more career success, healthier relationships, and I actually like, dare I say love, the woman I see in the mirror today.

We never have to keep doing something that isn't serving us. We are all one decision away from a completely different life. If you think your life might be better without alcohol, let's chat.
